Parameters: Upper Manhattan is the northernmost region of Manhattan. It is bounded by 96th Street to the south (on the East Side of Manhattan), Marble Hill area to the north, and 125th Street to the south (on the West Side of Manhattan). The neighborhoods of Marble Hill, Inwood, Washington Heights, Harlem Heights, Harlem, Sugar Hill, Hamilton Heights and East Harlem (as well as Manhattan Valley and Morningside Heights) are all part of the area known as Uptown Manhattan.
